O Carl.

For those of you who know me well enough, you know that I enjoy a good Carl Sagan book, and that the NOVA series, Cosmos enlightened me to a greater awe of the existence of our planet and us. Right now I am trying to finish, Billions and Billions, Carl's last book. Reading anything of his always puts things into such a unique perspective. So while on this kick I checked out the Carl Sagan tribute blog and found this succinct and lovely use of one of his most quoted statements on Cosmos:

Whether you enjoyed this video or not, do yourself a favor sometime and try to watch the Cosmos series. Sometimes it is hard to stay engaged, but it is worth watching over and over and over again.
That's all for today. Yay obscurity. Yay for this instant in time and the breaths I'm taking.

Newest favorite quote,
"The clearest sign of wisdom is continued cheerfulness."- Michel E. de Montaigne (1533-92)

Dude, I was so gonna post this vid to my blog but then I didn't. I saw it via Pharyngula, my favorite blog for all things godless and scientific.

I (heart) Carl.
