Writing to Extraterrestrials

In a fun little experiment, students in the third grade (normal course, not English course) Oral Communication class wrote to aliens who then responded.

Here's one of my favorite exchanges:

"Dear E.T.:
Hello, how are you? I'm fine. We are living on the earth. The earth is round and blue. It has a beautiful view. I have three questions. What are you for fan? How long is the distance from the earth to your planet? Can you speak a language?
Sincerely,
Human"

"Dear Human,
YEAH, Hellow!!
I'm just a crazy kidnap for humans.
The my planet is quite a distance from the earth. I can speaking language is E.T. language. I have questions! What food do you eat? What is the average lifespan? Are you wearing clothes?"
