Home Again Jiggety-Jig

The holidays were wonderful. I saw a lot of family and friends and ate A LOT of food (bacon).

Nothing is warmer than a cold day in Vermont.

I also was lucky enough to go to DC and celebrate holidays yet again.

I was asked if it was wierd to be back in the States, and honestly the two worlds are so different that it was as if my life in Japan was a dream.
And in returning to my quiet little apartment, the visit home is like a dream.

I feel so lucky that it is all real.

Sorry this will be short...do you sometimes wonder why you read this at all?
Here's Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to brighten your day. I was moved to get up and dance when I watched this today. Thanks to SoundsandPictures for the video:

Good to have you back Ashuri! I know what you mean about it all being dreamlike...Australia already seems like a lifetime ago. Btw abseiling involves bouncing down a cliff backways with a rope tied around your waist. Can't recommend it highly enough :)
